Chapter 215 - G'day Mate

i was at the KLIA last friday to send-off my brother whom got a job in Sydney, Australia. he'll be there for 3-5 months. not a long stint, but after the sydney work, he'll be transported to another site. i heard UK. that is what u get when u work for an international company. they'll send you wherever the works at.. overseas. the money is good, plus u can broaden your horizon of perspectives. but of course you have to separate from your beloved family, unless you want to angkut the whole family together.. crazy. but separation will make us human stronger.

the funny thing was, the send-off is nothing less than menghantar rombongan pegi haji. it's normal for parent and siblings to be around. but when uncles, aunts, in-laws, cousins were there, it just dont feel quite right. of course i appreciate the gesture and effort of coming over and send-off my brother. nothing wrong there, but it humored me.

Last Saturday, i played a friendly match for Cocoro. my hunch told me that i was gonna play, so i brought my shoes along, for what i thought i'll be spectating the game. reason: tak pernah turun training for the past few months. and also i played only once 2 weeks ago. so, my match fitness is zero. hahaha. oh yeah, the most obvious reason because, i wasn't told about the match. nobody mentioned it to me. not until that morning, when my friend called. So.. we lost the match. but the margin is not that great, everyone's content. i did collect an offensive rebound amidst their tall defenders. cewah.

Umat Islam dilarang menyambut Valentine's Day. Dah kluar fatwa beberapa tahun yang lepas. what is so special about VD? apa hari2 lain xboleh berkasih-kasihan? hari2 lain xboleh buat anak? haih... VD is overrated. Saturday's night, my friends and I went over to a friend's place and played Wii. Cool (not loser!).


Honestly, Wii is a family game. It is best to play with your family or friends. i'm amaze with the playing modus. everything is done by the waive of the controller (great accelerometer). this is the only console yang boleh kurus kalau main lama2. i remember having a boxing match with my friend, and i sweat like a crazy. bayangkan kalau main 10 boxing matches. berapa kalori terbakar tu? anyway, i played Guitar Hero; and i kick-ass (easy mode only)! better to play with guitar than controller. ROCK ON!!

Chapter 214 - Ride

Behold. The kick ass ride of the year. Called Saganova by a friend, this fine mobile powered with 1.3 Campro IAFM engine, single ABS ready, 40 liter of fuel capacity, automatic transmission, 4 seaters, 6.5 liter for 100 km.. (inhale..).. will together embark a new journey with me.

i have my dream car (like everyone), but i care less about the carburetor, engine, injection, horsepower, sport rims, any other details.. bla bla bla. so, after careful consideration which mostly swayed by my budget constraint, i decided to buy this Saga. murah weh.. 40k. but hopefully, there are some good quality in this car. so far so good la. you know la, the expectation towards national car is not that great kan.... nonetheless, i'm crossing my finger, otherwise people from Proton gonna see my finger.

To be honest, i'm not that fond with cars.. generally. the fact that i'm a man and not dig into cars, doesnt make me a less of a man. even so, i still stand with my opinion which is; women aren't suppose to drive. like a laptop, some come with bluetooth, card reader, DVD-RW, etc... and some dont. in this case, women... they are not born with driving sense. Have you often drive and the car in front did something that annoys you, and when you overtake, you saw a woman driving the car, and you said, "Pompuan, patut la!" ? happened a lot, rite? See.. i cannot explain how God's works, but the truth is there. its harsh to say they shouldn't drive at all, because it will force the guys to drive them. so, we should have this little small exclusive lane just for the ladies. they all can cram in that single lane and become annoyance among themselves. men who drives like girl can cut their balls off.

Chapter 213 - Majestic

I'm not a theater lover, but i feel like i don't want to miss this one. Puteri Gunung Ledang the Musical coming into season 3 this February. This would be Tiara last appearance as Gusti Putri Raden Adjeng Retno Dumilah. Hamik kau.. garu kepala pendaftar surat beranak nak tulis panjang2 ni. Actually, the thing that drove me to watch this play was my previous experience watching malay theater; which turned out to be awesome (P.Ramlee The Musical). so, friends and I are going to watch it today. Tickets are ranging from RM35 to RM353. Bayar lebih sikit boleh duduk atas pentas. hahaha.. don't bother trying your luck booking through the Internet (www.axcess.com.my), they're already sold-out. but i bet the walk-in tickets are still available. better hurry, the tickets are selling fast. don't forget to bring along your student card (kalau masih belajar) to get your student rate; 30% off. Venue, Panggung Sari Istana Budaya.

Post-Watch
Worth what I'm paying for. RM88; or to be exact the RM133 ticket (after student rate). but I would bitch a lot if I'm 10 cm shorter with the same ticket, because our seat were on the 2nd tier and we sat exactly in the front row. picture perfect? not exactly... the seat and the ledge height is not well-proportioned. so, those yang pendek2 mesti tak puas hati. nak kena bawak bantal alas punggung baru boleh layan teater dengan puas.

Well, it is truly unfair to compare PGL with P.Ramlee the Musical. different timeline meaning differences in backdrops, language and feels; and as for me, i'm more fond to the familiar backdrops. I really do think Tiara did a good job portraying her character, while Stephen Rahman is a good looking guy, i dont think he's suitable to be our legendary Hang Tuah. Yeah, he can sing (i mean it...), but he lacks the malay look, and the way he spurts his lines doesnt sound like Tuah I imagined. maybe i prefer the movie version of Tuah played by M Nasir or P Ramlee.
Stephen still reminds me of his character in Los dan Faun, hilarious. AC Mizal sounded like he got flu (or maybe he purposely did that) and Adlin was so natural playing his role as Sultan Mahmud. Hats off to the actors and actresess for the good job. there are few glitches but due to their professionalism, it was seamless.

PGL got moving sail, PRTM got moving train. both equally amazing. PRTM xde magic, PGL ada magic.. jeng jeng jeng... pegi tengok.
